These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of Weekly Monitor (the “Service”), a research and educational web application operated by Andrew Botvinik (“we,” “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Weekly Monitor is research and educational software. It computes and displays scores, grades, valuation models, and commentary derived from publicly available market data, and provides tools for organizing your own research and decisions. Every published formula is documented, and the Service's purpose is to teach and to organize — not to advise.
The Service is not investment advice. Nothing in the Service — no grade, signal, score, model output, ranking, commentary, or any other content — is investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any security or other instrument. Grades and signals are the mechanical output of published formulas applied to third-party data; they are not tailored to you, your finances, or your objectives.
We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and no advisory, fiduciary, or client relationship is created by your use of the Service. The Service cannot execute trades and holds no customer funds or securities.
Your decisions are your own. Investing involves substantial risk, including loss of principal. Past performance — including any published track record of the Service's own signals — does not guarantee future results. Consult a licensed financial professional before making investment decisions.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
The Service displays data obtained from third-party sources (including Yahoo Finance, CBOE, Finnhub, FRED, StockTwits, Stooq, and — when enabled — Financial Modeling Prep). Quotes are delayed (typically ~15 minutes), and any data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Data and computed figures are provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or fitness for any purpose. Do not rely on the Service for time-sensitive trading decisions.
Some commentary in the Service (market reads, event watches) is generated by an artificial-intelligence model and is labeled as such where it appears. AI-generated content can contain errors and should be treated as background, not fact.
The Service stores your inputs — holdings, cost basis, decisions, theses, policies, settings — in your own browser's local storage. We do not maintain accounts and do not store this data on our servers (see the Privacy Policy). Consequences you accept by design:

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal research and education. Market data remains the property of its respective providers.
The Service is provided free of charge and without any service-level commitment. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may update these Terms; the current version, with its effective date, will always be posted at this address, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, INVESTMENT LOSSES, OR LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY ZERO — THE SERVICE IS FREE).
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
